To bring glory to God in a unified effort, by corporately worshiping Jesus Christ through song and worship dance and facilitating prayer for personal, local, national and international issues which impact the local Churches and Community.

Joel 1:14 says, “Consecrate a fast, call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God. And cry out to the Lord.”

In response to concerns raised by local pastors and by the leader of the Tillamook County Wide Prayer Team a call went out for a Solemn Assembly in Tillamook to be held on Tuesday Feb. 2, 2022, (2-22-22). Unusual occult activity was anticipated on that day and the people of God were called to wage war in The Spirit. Concerns were raised less than a week before the date and despite the short notice between 50 and 100 prayer warriors representing many of our neighborhood churches, turned out for the event hosted at First Christian Church in Tillamook.

The warriors divided into teams and after quick instruction departed by foot to prayer walk at several key locations near the church. Despite the cold wind that blew all afternoon fervent effectual prayer went up to God. Later all the teams returned to the church to commence in Solemn Assembly. Their numbers added to those warriors who arrived in their absence.

What is a Solemn Assembly? As disaster strikes, as the forces of the enemy conspire to bring down our communities, our state and the nation, then our Living God draws His people to resist. James 4:7 says, “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” We repent on behalf of our people as did the Prophet Daniel (see Daniel chapter 9), we repent of our own sin and idolatry. We stand in the gap with prayer and praise, with supplication and thanksgiving and with prayers for the salvation and deliverance of the enemies of the Living God.

In the holy atmosphere of the sanctuary one person after another rose and came forward to pray in front of the assembly. Prayers taken directly from Holy Scripture were lifted to Heaven as these children of God prayed in one accord. Powerful testimonies were offered, praise and worship rose like incense to the throne room of God. Revelation 8:4 says, “The smoke of the incense, mixed with the prayers of God’s holy people, ascended up to God from the altar where the angel had poured them out.” Prayerful resistance to the work of the enemy was declared and the downfall of the enemy was decreed.

The work was done, victory was won and God smiled upon us and did indeed answer our fervent prayers. This was not the first Solemn Assembly in Tillamook and it certainly will not be the last. Join with us next time and experience this victory for yourself. Please watch this website for the announcement of future events.
