Day 15 – Businesses

Exodus 31:3  And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

1 Kings 2:3  And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn;

PRAYER:  Lord, we are blessed to live in a country that allows free enterprise and we thank You for this! We lift up our business owners and their leadership teams and ask that You would guide them with the wisdom they need to succeed and be a blessing to this community. Lord, when our businesses are strong, it gives us a strong economy locally, and it is good when our people have work. Our businesses need courage and strength to press on. Give them great ideas and a spirit of excellence, and cause them to prosper in all their ways. Lord, let them honor You with their increase. Make their business a place where Your glory dwells. We pray for stronger markets, and that You would put Tillamook County on the map as a place of excellence, whose products are sought after. Provide for our businesses a healthy, stable workforce, protection, wisdom and vision. We pray for more family wage jobs, and that each would honor Godly principles in the way they conduct their business with their employees and with their customers. Father, one of the cries of our business leaders’ hearts is for wonderful employees who will be faithful, hardworking, skillful, punctual, efficient and servant hearted. We pray for excellent ethics within the workforce, that they would be honest and good stewards with the equipment and possessions of the business. Lord, we ask that You would expose things hidden in darkness and give the employers good discernment and wisdom to know when things are going wrong and what they should do about it. Give our business owners endurance to run the race You have set before them. Let them run their business as unto You. We thank You for them! In Jesus Name

Lord, we pray for You to help our businesses prosper:

• Established Big Business
  • Tillamook County Creamery
  • Tillamook Country Smoker
  • The Hospital and Clinics
  • Werner Meats
  • Logging Companies
  • Lumber Mills
• Small Businesses
  • We pray for strength, perseverance, and enthusiasm for shop owners. Provide good managers.
  • Cause the shops to shine and prosper. Provide shop owners with great new ideas.
  • Prompt people to utilize local businesses through convenient access by highways, internet, or phone.
  • We pray that any shops that promote sinful activities would have the hearts of the people turned toward You and Your Truth. Post Your angels over their doors to help people resist temptation. Transform these businesses to something that glorifies You, Lord, and brings greater profit and fosters a healthy community.
• New Businesses
  • We pray that the downtown areas of all our cities to be beautiful and attractive to business, and for this to be sustainable.
  • We pray for Tillamook County to be on the map as a good place to plant new business.
  • We pray help for city leaders to attract and provide favorable support for new wholesome businesses that would bless the community and provide family wage jobs, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
