Day 2 – Praise and Thanksgiving
March 28, 2016
Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! (2) Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. (3) Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (4) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (5) For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places …(6) to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
Psalm 66; Psalm 103; Ephesians 1:3-11
PRAYER: Lord God, we lift our hearts in thanksgiving and praise to You, for You are God alone and worthy of all praise. We bless Your name for You are good. You are the One who made us; we are Yours and therefore live for You. May our lips speak great joy and our service be given with gladness. Hear the joyful songs of our hearts that honor You as we meditate on Your everlasting lovingkindness and faithfulness to every generation. When we are weighed down by the burdens of sin and the cares of this life, draw our hearts back to You. Lift our eyes to see Your glory and praise You in a way that is worthy of Your name. We are so blessed by Your marvelous, amazing grace! May our lives show our gratitude for each of these blessings that are ours in abundance.
