Day 30 – Health and Healing

Jeremiah 33:6 (NKJV)  Behold, I will bring health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

Malachi 4:2 (NKJV)  But to you who fear My name, The Sun of Righteousness shall arise, With healing in His wings;

Luke 9:11 (NKJV)  But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

PRAYER:  Lord, You have called me to be an instrument of Your peace and to pray for those who are bowed down and You have given me the authority to intercede powerfully toward anything that exalts itself against Your perfect will. I pray You would give me the boldness and the love to minister life, health, and healing words and prayers for the people around me. Let me impart faith and hope as I do this. Help me to be consistent as seek Your heart, Lord, asking for help for those going through times of trouble. May You be glorified in all that I do. Lord, I give You my ear to hear as You help me with my prayer life. I ask You to bring to mind those for whom You would have me pray. ____________Listen and pray!

During this season of immense change in the Health Care Industry, we ask that You would guide leaders of health care with Your wisdom to make good choices on behalf of our people. Keep our health care facilities with Your Mission at the foremost part of their service, and make their way plain and straight, so service can be delivered with a spirit of excellence. Keep each of our facilities “fixed and stable” in the shadow of the Almighty God.

Lord, as a county, we are grateful to those who give their lives to serve and care for the sick and injured. We ask that You would pour out the Spirit of Wisdom upon health workers and caregivers, to be ready in season and out, to do the right thing at a given moment. We ask for Your sovereign touch on all health care workers, to lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover, and be at peace. We lift up:

• Tillamook Regional Medical Center
• The Ambulance Service
• Medical offices, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners
• Chiropractors
• Naturopaths
• Home Health and Hospice workers
• Dentists
• Opticians and Ophthalmologists
• Senior Services to Elderly, Disabled and Mentally disabled

Pray for God’s divine wisdom and healing virtue to be poured out, with quick and accurate diagnosing, appropriate and effective care, and courage and strength to work in the overwhelming challenges of the electronic age and new regulations.  In Jesus Name.
